【Abstract】 Objective To study the value of group nursing mode of happiness perception training for senile dementia patients with depression.Methods A total of 80 senile dementia patients with depression who visited our hospital from January 2022 to January 2023, they were randomly divided into an observation group of 40 cases and a control group of 40 cases.The control group received routine care, while the observation group received group care through happiness perception training on the basis of the control group.Compare the psychological states of two groups, record the scores of the Mini Mental State Examination (MMSE), Clinical Dementia Rating (CDR), Activity of Daily Living Scale (ADL), and the MOS item short from health survey (SF-36), and collect patient family satisfaction.Results After intervention, the scores of Self Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Self Rating Depression Scale (SDS) in the two groups of patients significantly decreased compared to before intervention, and the observation group was lower than the control group (P<0.05); After intervention, the MMSE, ADL, and SF-36 scores of the two groups increased compared to before intervention, while the CDR score decreased. The observation group had higher MMSE, ADL, and SF-36 scores than the control group, while the CDR score was lower than the control group(P<0.05); The satisfaction of the family members of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The happiness perception training group nursing model has high clinical value for elderly dementia patients with depression, and can effectively alleviate their anxiety and depression emotions, making it suitable for clinical use.
