[Abstract] Objective To study the nursing management effect of rational emotive behaviortherapy combined with mindfulness decompression for ovarian cancer chemotherapy patients, and observe its impact on anxiety, depression and the quality of life.Methods The clinical dataes of 128 ovarian cancer patients admitted in our hospital from June 2020 to June 2023 were collected.There were 68 cases received rational emotive behaviortherapy combined with mindfulness decompression intervention among the 128 patients,they were as the observation group,another 60 cases received routine nursing management,which were as the control group.The cancer-related fatigue status, coping strategies, anxiety and depression, and quality of life levels between two groups of patients before and after intervention were compared.Results After intervention, the degree of cancerous fatigue in the observation group was significantly reduced,which compared with the control group (P<0.05).After intervention, the facing ratings scores of medical coping modes questionnaire scores in the patients of the observation group were higher than those in the control group, while the avoidance and surrender scores were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05).After intervention, the self-rating anxiety scale and self-rating depression scale scores of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group (P<0.05).After intervention, the overall health status, physical function, emotional function, social function, cognitive function and role function European organisation for research and treatment of cancer quality of life questionnaire-core 30 scores of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05).Conclusion The combination of rational emotive behavior therapy and mindfulness decompression training for ovarian cancer chemotherapy patients can help to alleviate cancer-related fatigue, correct anxiety and depression.
