In recent years, as the number of film and television imports and exports continues to increase, appropriate subtitles have become the focus of the promotion of the movie. Subtitle translation is essentially a translation, and the topic of fidelity is inseparable from it. The core idea of Tetler's Three Principles of Translation is that the translation shoul be faithful to the original text and expresses the content of the original text. Although it is often used in poetry translation, it can also be applied to movie translation. Based on the theory of Tetler's three principles of translation, this study analyzes the subtitle translation of the science documentary Battlefield Cell. Through the analysis of seven sets of translation examples, it is found that in the process of subtitle translation of the documentary, the translators use direct translation of anthropomorphic terminology and syntactic subdividing and reorganizing to realize the accuracy of scientific concepts, and build up a micro battlefield narrative model with the help of the systematic transplantation method of military metaphors.
