摘要
哈罗德·布鲁姆是当今世界颇具影响力的文学批评家,在其批评生涯后期将其毕生所学转投进入到文学审美教育当中。布鲁姆运用其围绕崇高美学思想所建立的审美批评打造的正典体系来应对在多元文化主义泛滥的年代所造成的“审美缺失”,并以此来实现基于文学经典对广大民众的审美教育,推广其审美阅读方法,促进读者重视个人内在审美体验,而非多元文化主义的批评,强调了主体在审美当中的作用,为“后理论时代”的文学研究提供一种思考与范式。
Abstract
Harold Bloom was a highly influential literary critic in the contemporary world. In the later stages of his critical career, he redirected his lifelong scholarship toward the field of literary aesthetic education. To address the “aesthetic deficit” arising in an era of rampant multiculturalism, Bloom employed the canon system he established through his aesthetic criticism centered on the concept of the sublime. Through this approach, he sought to implement aesthetic education for the general public based on literary classics, promoting his method of aesthetic reading to encourage readers to prioritize personal inner aesthetic experience over multicultural criticism. By emphasizing the role of the subject in aesthetic criticism, Bloom provided a framework and paradigm for literary criticism in the post-theory era.
