Abstract
Chopsticks are the modern term; in ancient times, they were also called "zhu," "zhu," "zhu," and "zhu," among other names. They are a core utensil in Chinese culinary culture that has permeated thousands of years. The emergence of chopsticks was not accidental, but rather an inevitable result of the evolution of ancient cooking methods. Since ancient times, chopsticks have been endowed with different cultural meanings, and the change in terminology from "zhu" to "kuai" is also related to these cultural meanings. With social development and the inheritance of chopstick culture, a series of taboos regarding the use of chopsticks have also emerged and become integrated into our daily lives. This article briefly introduces the origin, cultural symbolism, and taboos of using chopsticks.
