Information and communication technology (ICT), as the cornerstone of a smart city, provides a strong support for the efficient operation and sustainable development of the city. This paper discusses the key technologies of ICT in the construction of smart cities, including the Internet of Things, big data, cloud computing and artificial intelligence, and analyzes its application prospects in traffic management, public services, environmental monitoring and other fields.
