As an important part of urban public space, the design of waterfront is closely related to user experience. This paper starts with the design status of the waterfront landscape belt walking path, analyzes the existing problems, such as unreasonable spatial layout, imperfect facilities, and puts forward targeted optimization measures, including reasonable planning of space, improving supporting facilities, strengthening landscape design, etc. By improving the comfort, safety and fun of the walking path, enhance the user experience, and provide a reference for the sustainable development of the urban waterfront space. The study aims to provide theoretical support and practical guidance for the design and optimization of the waterfront landscape belt walk.
