【Abstract】 Objective To investigate the effects of nursing intervention on mental health and quality of life in suicidal depression patients with mental disorders.Methods From July 2012 to July 2015in mental health center of Xian, 132 cases of psychiatric patients with suicidal depression were randomlydivided into two groups, nursing intervention group (n = 66, with nursing intervention) and routine care group (n = 66, with routine care). Compared Brief Psychiatric Rating Scale, mental health rating scale (SCL-90) and quality of life scale (WHOQOL-BREF) of the two groups.Results The score of SCL-90 in the intervention group was significantly lower than that in the control group after nursing intervention. The score of SCL-90 of the control group was 183 points, which was significantly higher than that of the intervention group (151 points).The score of the quality of life of the intervention group was 69.56 ± 4.05, which was better than that of the control group (45.77 ± 5.83), P <0.05, the difference was statistically significant.Conclusions nursing intervention for patients with suicidal depression disorder can effectively improve the degree of mental disorders and the quality of life, help patients to establish a positive and healthy attitude.
