[Abstract] Objective To investigate the targeted nursing intervention on negative emotion and serum cortisol (Cor) in coronary heart disease (CHD) patients with chronic heart failure (CHF).Methods Totally 124 cases of CHD patients with CHF in our hospital from January 2015 to December 2016 were enrolled and randomly divided into observation group and control group ,62 cases in each group.The control group received routine nursing intervention,the observation group received targeted nursing intervention on the basis of the control group.The Zung Self-rating Anxiety Scale (SAS), Self-rating Depression Scale (SDS), Minnesota Heart Failure Quality of Life Scale (LiHFe), serum Cor level, left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and 6-minute walk test (6WMT) between the two groups were compared.Results After intervention, the scores of SAS, SDS,LiHFe and the serum level of Cor in the two groups were significantly lower than before intervention,and those were significantly lower than in the control group (P<0.05). The LVEF and 6WMT in the two groups were significantly higher than before intervention,and the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Targeted nursing intervention can effectively reduce the negative emotion and serum Cor level in CHD patients with CHF. It has positive effect on improving cardiac function and quality of life of patients.
