Abstract: Objective to investigate the effect of emotional intelligence nursing intervention on stress level and nursing satisfaction of patients with artificial abortion. Methods 112 cases of patients with artificial abortion in obstetrics and gynecology department of * * hospital from May to July 2016 were randomly divided into the observation group with 56 cases and the control group with 56 cases, the control group was given routine nursing, the observation group was given emotional intelligence nursing intervention based on the control group, the Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD) and the anxiety scale (HAMA) was used to investigate the psychological stress level of the two groups, cortisol, adrenal hormone levels and nursing satisfaction was compared between the two groups. Results Anxiety and depression score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, the cortisol and adrenal hormones was lower than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The satisfaction degree in the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion emotional intelligence nursing intervention can reduce the psychological stress and physiological stress level of patients with artificial abortion, improve patient satisfaction with nursing.
