【Abstract】Objective To explore the effect of nursing team care model on depressive emotion and blood glucose level in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus combined with depression. Methods 104 patients with type 2 diabetes and depression admitted in our hospital from July 2013 to July 2016 were selected and randomly divided into control group (51 cases) and observation group (53 cases), and they were given routine nursing care and nursing team care respectively. SDS score, HAMD score, fasting blood glucose, and postprandial 2h blood glucose level of patients in two groups were detected and compared before and after nursing intervention at different time points. Results SDS score, HAMD score, fasting blood glucose and 2h postprandial blood glucose levels of patients in two groups were significantly decreased compared with those before the intervention after different nursing interventions, and there were significantly statistical differences when comparing those indexes between the two groups at different time points after intervention. Indexes in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion The effect of nursing team care on type 2 diabetes patients with depression is evident, which can significantly improve depression symptoms and blood glucose level of patients.
