【Abstract】Objective: To study the effect of rehabilitation guidance combined with psychotherapy on Depressive episode symptoms and social function. Methods: From August 2014 to March 2016, 116 cases of intervention in patients with Depressive episode were selected , according to different intervention methods were divided into experimental group and control group(n=58 cases). The control group used conventional drug therapy to treat, experimental group patients on the basis of the control group gave rehabilitation guidance combined with psychotherapy. Treated was 7 weeks, used Adopted Hamilton Depressive episode scale (HAMD) scores and Hamilton anxiety scale (HAMA) to evaluate patients symptoms; used Adopted core scale of quality of life (QOL - 30) to evaluate the quality of life of patients. used the Personal and Social function scale (Personal and Social Performance, PSP) to evaluate the Social function of the patients. Results: After treatment, the HAMD score and HAMA score of experimental group was obviously lower than the control group, with statistical significance (P < 0.05); The quality of life score in experimental group was better than control group, with statistical significance (P < 0.05); The social function of the experimental group patients score was significantly higher than the control group, with statistical significance (P < 0.05). Conclusion: Rehabilitation guidance combined with psychotherapy in patients with Depressive episode can effectively improve the patients mental state, improve the patients quality of life and social functions.
