【Abstract】 Objective To study the relationship between psychological stress and treatment compliance of patients with urinary stone surgery, and to analyze the nursing methods. Methods 90 patients treated by urinary stone surgery were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 45 cases in each. All patients were treated with urinary calculi clinical nursing path, while the observation group got strengthening psychological nursing in addition. The changes in Hospital Stress Scale before and after nursing in 2 groups were compared. The relationship between psychological stress and treatment compliance were analyzed by Pearson correlation method. Results All dimensions in Hospital Stress Scale of both groups were significantly decreased (P＜0.05 ). After nursing, the dimension of unfamiliar environment, lack of information, uncomfortable, threat of disease, family and social factors and total scores in Hospital Stress Scale of the observation group were significantly lower than those of the control group (P＜0.05 ). After nursing, the compliance score of the observation group was significantly increased and was significantly higher than that of the control group (P＜0.05 ). The compliance score of the control group did not change significantly before and after nursing (P＞0.05). The psychological stress scores were positively correlated with treatment compliance scores (r=0.817, P=0.000). Conclusion there is significant correlation between psychological stress and compliance, urinary tract surgery clinical nursing path added with strengthening psychological nursing is helpful to improve the perioperative adverse psychological stress, improve treatment compliance, can be used as an effective way of perioperative management of such patients.
