Abstract: Objective: To observe the application effect of the detection of serum interleukin -6 levels in the diagnosis of bipolar disorder. Methods: The January 2015 ~2016 year in December in our hospital 92 cases of patients with bipolar disorder, assessed by YMRS scale, HAMD scale, divided into two groups (n=64) and the manic phase of bipolar depression group (n=28), and 30 healthy cases as the control group, by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay the level of serum cytokines were detected and compared. Results: In the group, three groups of serum IL-2, IL-1 levels compared no significant difference, no statistical significance (P>0.05); bipolar manic bipolar depression group and serum IL-6 level was significantly higher than that of control group (P<0.05). After treatment, patients with IL-6 level, YMRS score and bipolar depression patients IL-6 level and HAMD score were significantly lower than those before the treatment of bipolar mania (P<0.05); comparing the difference between IL-6 level and HAMD, before and after the bipolar manic depression and double group group YMRS score has positive correlation (P<0.05). Conclusion: Patients with mania and depression disorder associated with serum IL-6 levels with bipolar, the presence of immune IL-6 induced abnormal attack.
