Abstract
The Chinese character belongs to a language of ideogram, the main feature of which manifests the close relationship between the form and the meaning. People who have studied and used Chinese characters tend to have the mentality of “interpreting without real understanding” or “guessing the meaning on the sight of the form” unconsciously, so they just comprehend something by the form or the component of the character. This mentality, when reflected on the choosing of transliterated words, has bridged a relationship between the form and the meaning, making this kind of characters look like native words. These gradually Hanized transliterated words have become an organic part of Chinese language, and has greatly enriched Chinese vocabulary and strengthened its expressiveness, so this Hanization is an inevitable trend in the development of transliterated words.
