[Abstract]Objective: To study the depression in gestational diabetes mellitus(GDM) patients and its relationship with delivery mode, adverse pregnancy outcomes. Methods: 78 cases of GDM patients in our hospital during May 2012 to December 2015 were chosen as observation group and further divided into high SDS group, low SDS group, each group was formed by 39 cases; another 60 cases of normal pregnant women underwent antenatal examination and childbirth in our hospital at the same time were chosen as control group. 36 weeks of pregnancy, degree of depression was evacuated by Self-Rating Depression Scale(SDS). The final delivery mode and adverse pregnancy outcomes were recorded. Results: SDS score in observation group before delivery was higher than that in control group(P<0.05); The rate of vaginal delivery in High SDS group, low SDS group was lower than that in normal control group, cesarean section, forceps delivery rate were higher than those in normal control group, rates of Premature rupture of membranes, Postpartum hemorrhage, Postoperative infection, Macrosomia, Neonatal asphyxia, neonatal hypoglycemia were higher than those in normal control group(P<0.05); The rate of vaginal delivery in high SDS group was lower than that in low SDS group, cesarean section, forceps delivery rate were higher than those in low SDS group, rates of Premature rupture of membranes, Postpartum hemorrhage, Postoperative infection, Macrosomia, Neonatal asphyxia, neonatal hypoglycemia were higher than those in low SDS group(P<0.05).
