摘要
综合英语课程作为英语专业的基础核心课程,不仅是学生语言技能的培训场,更是道德品质塑造的重要平台。将耕读教育这一传统农耕文化与现代实践精神的教育理念融入其中,是实现农科院校课程思政、跨学科融合,以及培养学生全面发展的重要路径。本文结合实例探索了综合英语这门课程中“5+5”的融入路径,即从教学内容、教学模式、教学方法、教学手段和教学评价五个维度以及听说读写译五大能力的培养来探索耕读教育的融入路径,以解决涉农学校英语专业的核心课程综合英语教学中所存在的耕读教育不足和不系统等实际问题,从而提高该门课程的教学质量。
Abstract
Integrated English course, a foundational course offered for English majors, aims not only to develop students’ language competence but also to foster their moral character. Integrating farming-related education—an educational philosophy that embodies traditional farming culture coupled with a modern practical spirit—into this course serves as an important pathway to achieving moral education in curricula, interdisciplinary integration, and fostering well-rounded development in agricultural universities. This paper explores, with practical examples, a “5+5” integration approach in the Integrated English course. Specifically, it examines the integration of farming-related education through five dimensions—teaching content, teaching models, teaching methods, teaching tools, and teaching evaluation—and the cultivation of five key language skills: listening, speaking, reading, writing, and translation. The aim is to address practical issues such as the insufficiency and lack of systematization in farming-related education within the core Integrated English course for English majors in agricultural universities, thereby enhancing the teaching quality of this course.
