Objective This study mainly explores the value of pharmacist intervention in the reporting and monitoring of adverse drug reactions in hospitals. Methods The study was selected to be carried out from July 2023 to July 2024. The study subjects randomly combined 1,000 patients admitted to our hospital during this period into a control group and research group. Patients in the control group received routine monitoring. Patients in the research group received the participation of adverse reactions monitoring by pharmacists and observed the reporting rate of adverse reactions in the two groups, the completeness Results The reporting rate of adverse reactions, the completeness rate of reporting adverse reactions, and the recognition rate of severe adverse reactions in the study group were all higher than in the control group. At the same time, the drug adjustment rate was higher than in the control group, and the remission time of adverse reactions was less than that in the control group, p<0.05. Conclusion Pharmacist intervention can significantly improve the efficiency of adverse reaction monitoring in hospitals and improve the quality of adverse reaction reporting.
