Objective To explore the value of using tacrolimus capsules in the treatment of chronic glomerulonephritis. Methods 70 patients with chronic glomerulonephritis who received medical treatment from January 2021 to January 2025 were randomly divided into two groups. The control group was treated with irbesartan, while the observation group was treated with tacrolimus capsules. The treatment effects were compared. Results The clinical treatment efficiency of the observation group was higher than that of the control group (P<0.05). The serum creatinine, blood urea nitrogen, and 24-hour urinary protein levels of the observation group were lower than those of the control group. The glomerular filtration rate and creatinine clearance rate of the observation group were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05), but there was no significant difference in adverse drug reactions between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion After adjuvant treatment with tacrolimus capsules, it can help promote the improvement of renal function in patients, improve treatment efficacy, and not increase the occurrence of adverse drug reactions. Therefore, it is recommended to promote it.
