【Abstract】 Objective: To study and analyze the therapeutic effect of sodium tetrandrine sustained-release tablets in patients with Alzheimers disease. Methods: Forty - eight patients with senile dementia who were treated in our hospital from May 2014 to November 2016 were randomly divided into control group (n = 40) and observation group (n = 44). The control group was treated with quetiapine, and the observation group was treated with sodium persulfate sustained-release tablets. The scores of MMSI score, SCAG score and adverse events were compared before and after treatment. Results: After treatment, the total score of NPI (40.13 ± 11.28), the agitation / attack factor score (1.08 ± 0.19), the score of distress score (22.61 ± 7.25), the MMSE score (19.96 ± 4.67) (39.02 ± 1.37) were significantly higher than those in the control group (49.29 ± 12.35), the agitation / attack factor score (1.18 ± 0.25), the score of the carer (26.57 ± 8.83) MMSO score (16.04 ± 3.28) and SCAG score (37.79 ± 0.49). The incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group (6.82%) was significantly lower than that in the control group (25.00%), the difference was statistically significant (P <0.05). Conclusion: Sodium persulfate sustained-release tablets can effectively relieve the impulsive behavior of senile dementia patients, the effect is better, and the drug has no obvious side effects and high safety.
