[Abstract] Objective: To study and explore the application value of clinical nursing path for health education and nursing service satisfaction of schizophrenia patients of elderly mental. Methods: from January 2013 September ~2016 year in our hospital inpatient department received 100 cases of elderly patients with schizophrenia as object, adopt computer single blind grouping method were randomly divided into the observation group a control group of 50 patients, the control group received the routine nursing, the observation group adopted clinical nursing pathway nursing, compared two groups of patients with mental disorders, the awareness of health knowledge, quality of life score and nursing satisfaction. Results: mental disorders, the intervention of WHO-DAS II score of two groups, PANSS scores before intervention were significantly decreased (P<0.05), and after the intervention between the two groups, the observation group of two scores were lower than the control group (P<0.05). The situation of health knowledge Condition, rate compared to the control group significantly improve the health knowledge of the observation group (P<0.05). The quality of life in the observation group, mental health, physical health, social function and material life, the scores were better than the control group (P<0.05). The nursing service satisfaction evaluation results showed that the nursing service satisfaction is higher than the observation group the control group (P<0.05). Conclusion: the application of clinical nursing pathway in elderly patients with schizophrenia intervention can effectively improve the awareness rate of health knowledge, so as to reduce the level of mental disorders, improve the quality of life, but also can improve the evaluation of patients to nursing service.
