Objective To explore the effectiveness of the model combining high-quality nursing service in outpatient department with humanistic care. Methods From January 2025 to December 2025, 200 patients who were treated in the outpatient department of our hospital were selected as the research subjects. They were divided into the control group (n=100 cases, implementing the conventional outpatient nursing model) and the observation group (n=100 cases, implementing the model of high-quality nursing service in outpatient department combined with humanistic care) using the random number table method. The visiting time, waiting time for examination, visiting experience, and nursing satisfaction of the two groups of patients were compared. Results The visiting time and waiting time for examination of the patients in the observation group were significantly shorter than those in the control group; and the scores of various visiting experiences and nursing satisfaction of the patients in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Conclusion Implementing the model of high-quality nursing service in outpatient department combined with humanistic care can effectively shorten the visiting time and waiting time for examination of patients, improve the visiting experience and nursing satisfaction, and achieve good results.
