Objective To analyze the effect of the application of the concept of rapid rehabilitation surgery in cardiac surgery care. Methods 76 patients were selected as a study sample from cardiac surgery patients admitted to the hospital between January 2023 and August 2025. In combination with digital double-blinding, patients were divided into reference group and observation group, where general surgical care was applied, and observation group care applied rapid rehabilitation surgical concepts to compare the effectiveness of care. Results The data showed that the perioperative indexes of the observation group were better than those of the control group (P < 0.05). Stress related indexes were more stable and stress response was lower in the observation group (P < 0.05). The incidence of complication was lower in the observation group (P < 0.05). Conclusion Stress response and risk of complications can be reduced by applying the concept of fast track surgery in cardiac surgery nursing.
