Objective To analyze the medical value of applying comfortable nursing in bronchoscopy examination of elderly patients with pulmonary tubculosis. Methods A quasi-experimental study was applied. Eighty cases of primary pulmonary tuberculosis patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria were included in study from July to December 2024. The patients were divided into groups according to the time of admission. Forty patients from July to September 2024 assigned to the control group and 40 patients from October to December 2024 were assigned to the observation group. The Medical Communication Confidence Scale and the Comfort Status were used for comparative observation. The SPSS26.0 data processing software was used for data calculation and analysis of the data changes before and after nursing. Results There no statistically significant difference before nursing (P﹥0.05). After nursing, the observation group had a better disease visit confidence and a higher physical comfort score than the control. The satisfaction of the observation group was higher, and the comparison was statistically significant (P﹤0.05). Conclusion The application of comfortable nursing in bronchopy examination of elderly patients with pulmonary tuberculosis can improve physical comfort, increase the patients' confidence in the examination and treatment, and the patients recognize the nursing service with high satisfaction.
