Objective To explore the application value of rapid recovery surgical nursing in accelerating the postoperative recovery of patients undergoing hepatobiliary surgery. Methods The case data of 68 patients with hepatobiliary surgery who were admitted to our hospital from May 2024 to April 2025 were collected and randomly divided into a control group (conventional nursing, n=34) and an observation group (rapid recovery surgical nursing, n=34). The postoperative recovery indicators and complications risk were compared between the two groups. Results After intervention, the observation group showed shorter recovery times for air passage, bowel movement, bed mobility, and hospital stay compared to the control group (P < 0.05). There was only 1 case of bleeding in the observation group during hospitalization, while there were 2 cases of bleeding, 1 case of infection, and 1 case of perforation in the control group, with a total of 4 cases. The difference between the two groups was significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion The application of rapid recovery surgical nursing during the treatment of hepatobiliary surgery patients can significantly accelerate postoperative recovery, prevent and control complications such as bleeding and infection, and provide a reference for the standardization of clinical nursing systems.
