Objective Analyze the application effect of new media combined with teach back health education model in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation patients and their families. Methods 59 patients who underwent hematopoietic stem cell transplantation in our hospital from July 1, 2023 to December 31, 2023 were selected as the research subjects and set as the control group. The traditional one-on-one health education model was adopted. Select 57 hematopoietic stem cell transplant patients received by our hospital from January 1, 2024 to June 30, 2024 as the research subjects, set as the experimental group, and adopt a new media combined with teach back health education model. Results The experimental group showed better performance in terms of health education duration, patient SAS, SDS score, family SAS, SDS score, error recurrence rate, and grip strength test (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of new media combined with the teach back health education model has a better effect on hematopoietic stem cell transplantation patients and their families, and is worthy of active application.
