Objective To explore the practical effect of halo effect nursing in patients with lung cancer undergoing chemotherapy with positive psychological model; Methods A prospective study model was adopted, and 80 patients who received chemotherapy in our hospital from January 2024 to January 2025 were randomly divided into observation group and control group, with 40 patients in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, while the observation group was given positive psychological mode combined with halo effect nursing. Results After the intervention, the scores of SAS (50.13±2.72vs53.43±2.63) and SDS (49.14±2.45vs52.98±2.67) in the observation group were better than those in the control group (P < 0.05). In the observation group, the scores of physiological function （82.92±7.55vs71.49±6.08), physiological function (81.85±8.42vs71.93±5.23) and mental health (75.14±6.19vs68.39±7.22) were all higher. The incidence of discomfort in the observation group (7.50%vs20.00%) was better than that in the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion The halo effect nursing of lung cancer patients undergoing chemotherapy with positive psychological model can effectively correct their negative emotions and promote the quality of life after prognosis, which has good application value.
