[Abstract] Objective: To explore the influence of individualized nursing based on IKAP model on anxiety and depression status of family members of children with leukemia. Methods: 83 cases of leukemia children and a family member of a child in our hospital from September 2015 to September 2016 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into control group(41 cases) and observation group(42 cases), according to random number table method. The control group were given routine nursing, and the observation group were given individualized nursing based on IKAP model. Anxiety, depression, quality of life and nursing satisfaction of family members of children were observed in the two groups. Results: Before intervention, there were no significant differences in self-rating anxiety scale(SAS) and self-rating depression scale(SDS) scores. After intervention, the scores of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P < 0.05). Psychological domain, social domain, subjective quality of life and quality of life scores in the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P < 0.05). There were no significant differences in physiological, environmental fields and subjective health between the two groups (P > 0.05). Nursing service attitude, health education, technical level, professional knowledge, emotional support, satisfaction rate of nursing cooperation were all higher than those in the control group(P < 0.05). Conclusion: Individualized nursing based on IKAP model can effectively relieve anxiety and depression of the family members of children with leukemia. It has a positive effect on their quality of life and nursing satisfaction.
