Objective To explore the application effect of health behavior interaction model nursing intervention in the care of perimenopausal abnormal uterine bleeding (AUB). Methods A total of 80 AUB patients admitted to our hospital from June 2024 to June 2025 were selected as the research subjects and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, with 40 cases in each group. The control group received routine care, while the observation group received nursing intervention based on the health behavior interaction model. The intervention effects were compared. Results ① Self-care ability: After the intervention, the scores of all indicators increased, and the observation group was higher than the control group (P < 0.05). ② Complication rate: The rate was 5.00% in the observation group and 22.50% in the control group, with the observation group being lower than the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion The application effect of health behavior interaction model nursing intervention in perimenopausal abnormal uterine bleeding patients is ideal. It can enhance patients' self-care ability and reduce the incidence of complications, and is feasible.
