Objective To analyze the practical value of extended nursing under the four action methods in the nursing of patients with hypertension. Methods A prospective study was conducted in 90 patients with hypertension from January 2023 to December 2024. 45 cases in each group were randomly divided into two groups. The control group was given routine nursing, while the observation group was given extended nursing with four actions, and the blood pressure levels of the two groups were compared. Results The levels of systolic blood pressure and diastolic blood pressure in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The scores of self-care ability in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05), and the incidence of complications in the observation group was lower (P < 0.05). Conclusion Using four actions to extend nursing care for patients with hypertension can strengthen the control effect of blood pressure level, increase the self-care ability of patients, curb the occurrence of adverse reactions, effectively improve the prognosis, and has good application value.
