Objective To explore the effect of perioperative family care intervention applied in operating room nursing management. Methods Starting from December 2024, our hospital began collecting data on cases that underwent surgical treatment. By December 2025, a total of 128 cases were included and evenly divided into groups using the drawing method. 64 cases in the reference group received routine nursing care; 64 cases in the research group received perioperative family care intervention while receiving routine nursing care. Compare the average arterial pressure, heart rate, comfort level, and other factors between two groups. Results The average arterial pressure and heart rate before anesthesia in the study group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The hospitalization time of the research group was significantly shorter than that of the reference group (P<0.05); The comfort and nursing quality scores were significantly higher than those of the reference group (P<0.05). Conclusion The application of perioperative family care intervention in operating room nursing management is beneficial for maintaining stable blood pressure and heart rate in patients, significantly improving patient comfort, shortening hospitalization time, and improving overall nursing quality. It should be actively promoted.
