Objective To explore the nursing difficulties of patients undergoing breast reconstruction after mastectomy, verify the application effect of the personalized intervention pathway, and provide a basis for improving nursing quality. Methods A total of 86 patients undergoing breast reconstruction after mastectomy for breast cancer, admitted between January 7, 2023, and December 7, 2025, were enrolled. A combination of retrospective analysis and prospective intervention was adopted to construct and implement a personalized nursing pathway covering physical care, psychological intervention, complication prevention and control, and rehabilitation training. Results The incidence of postoperative complications was 8.14%. After intervention, the scores of Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) of patients decreased significantly (P < 0.05), and the nursing satisfaction rate was 96.51%. Conclusion The personalized intervention pathway can reduce the incidence of complications, improve patients' mental state, and enhance nursing satisfaction, which has important clinical value.
