Objective To construct a full-cycle MDT model led by the operating room nursing team, which covers “preoperative evaluation-intraoperative collaboration-postoperative follow-up”, and to explore its impact on the efficiency of complex surgical processes, adverse events and patient satisfaction. Methods A total of 96 patients undergoing complex surgeries from March 2023 to March 2025 were selected and randomly divided into a control group (48 cases, routine nursing) and an experimental group (48 cases, MDT model). The control group adopted the dual cooperation mode of “surgeon-nurse”, while the experimental group established a multidisciplinary MDT team to implement full-cycle collaboration. Relevant indicators were compared between the two groups. Results The surgical preparation time(32.15±4.28 min)and intraoperative instrument change time(8.36±1.52 min)of the experimental group were shorter than those of the control group(P＜0.001);the incidence of adverse events was lower(4.17%vs 18.75%, χ²=5.926,P=0.015),and the patient satisfaction was higher(95.83%vs 77.08%, χ²=6.652,P=0.010). Conclusion The MDT model can optimize the surgical process, reduce risks and improve patient satisfaction, which is worthy of promotion.
