Abstract
Objective To evaluate the effects of a combined intervention integrating mindfulness breathing and mandala painting in psychological care for patients with breast diseases. Methods A total of 172 patients with breast diseases admitted to our hospital were enrolled and randomly assigned to either a control group (n = 86) or an observation group (n = 86). The control group received routine care, while the observation group received the same routine care plus a combined mindfulness breathing and mandala painting intervention. Outcomes were assessed using psychological status scores, quality of life (QoL) scores, and satisfaction ratings. Results The observation group showed significantly greater improvements in psychological status, QoL, and satisfaction compared to the control group, with all differences being statistically significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion Psychological nursing interventions that combine mindfulness breathing and mandala painting can effectively improve psychological well-being, quality of life, and treatment satisfaction in patients with breast diseases. This integrated approach is worth promoting in clinical practice.
