Objective To explore the effect of continuity of care on the compliance of cancer patients with oral chemotherapy drugs at home. Methods 74 patients who received oral chemotherapy at home in the oncology department of our hospital from June 2023 to July 2024 were selected as the research subjects. Randomly divided into a control group and an exploration group, with 37 cases in each group. The control group received routine care, while the exploration group received continued care. Compare the compliance and quality of life (EORTC QLQ-C30) of two groups of patients with home oral chemotherapy drugs. Results The treatment compliance of the exploration group was significantly higher than that of the control group, and the difference in data comparison analysis was significant (P<0.05); In addition, the quality of life score of the exploration group patients was better than that of the control group, and the difference in data comparison analysis was significant (P<0.05). Conclusion For patients with tumors who take oral chemotherapy drugs at home, continuous care can not only further improve their medication compliance, but also have a significant effect on improving their prognosis and quality of life.
