[Abstract] Objective: To explore the influence of nursing intervention based on FOCUS-PDCA program on sleep disorders and quality of life of stroke patients with depression. Methods: 98 cases of stroke patients with depression treated in our hospital from October 2015 to October 2016 were selected as the study objects, and were divided into control group and observation, according to the simple random sampling method, 49 cases in each group. The control group were given routine nursing, and the observation group were given nursing intervention based on FOCUS-PDCA program on the basis of routine nursing. Unhealthy mood, sleep disorder and quality of life were observed in the two groups. Results: After intervention, the scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P < 0.05). Bedtime, sleep time, sleep quality, sleep efficiency, sleep disorder, daytime function, sleep medication scores of Pittsburgh sleep quality index (PSQI) in the observation group were all lower than those in the control group(P < 0.05). Psychological function, physical function, material life and social function scores of Generic Quality of Life Inventory-7 (GQOLI-74) in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P < 0.05). Conclusion: Nursing intervention based on FOCUS-PDCA program can significantly reduce the effects of depression, anxiety and other negative emotions of stroke patients with depression. It is of great significance to improve sleep disorder and quality of life of the patients.
