【Abstract】 Objective To evaluate the value of MRI in the detection of human hippocampal volume and morphology in the clinical diagnosis of patients with depression. Methods 80 cases of depressive patients who were admitted to our hospital from March 2015 to February 2016 were selected as the observation group. 80 cases of non-depression were selected as the control group, and MRI examination was performed. Hippocampus volume and morphology, and compared. Results The HAMD score of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P <0.05). The hippocampal volume of the left and right sides of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and there was significant difference (P <0.05). The HAMD score was significantly decreased in the observation group after treatment (P <0.01), but there was no significant difference (P> 0.05). MRI examination: After standardization, the number of bilateral trailing layers in the observation group was smaller than that in the control group. There were no significant differences in the volume of hippocampus and hippocampus between the two groups. After three reconstructions, the volume and morphology of the hippocampus were significantly different between the observation group and the normal control group. The hippocampus was significantly higher in the patients with depression than the control group Shorter, thinner; and hippocampus head comparison, depression patients narrowed, longer. Conclusion Human brain hippocampal volume and morphological MRI are useful for clinical diagnosis of patients with depression.
