Abstract: Objective: To investigate the effect of systemic family therapy on family functioning in family members of schizophrenic patients;Methods: a total of 2011 years 2014 August to October in our hospital 160 cases of aged 40-53 schizophrenia patients, according to the patients family members can cooperate with systemic family therapy, the patients were divided into treatment group (systematic family therapy based on routine treatment) of 80 cases, control group (conventional therapy) 80 cases were followed up for 12 months on the families of patients, compared two groups of patients after recurrence, members of the family (spouse, children) before and after treatment, the symptom checklist (SCL-90) score, family function scale (FAD) score;Results: 6 months and 12 months, the recurrence rate of treatment group were 12.50% and 15% were significantly lower than the control group the recurrence rate in patients with 47.50% and 57.50% (P < 0.05); after the end of treatment, the treatment group of family members, especially the spouses SCL-90 score was significantly lower than the control group (P < 0.05); family function was significantly improved at 6 months and 12 months, and the treatment group than the control group (P < 0.05);Conclusion: after systemic family therapy can effectively reduce relapse in patients with schizophrenia relapse frequency and duration, and can effectively avoid the occurrence of anxiety of the family members, effectively protect the normal state of family function, worthy of clinical application, feasibility.
