Abstract: objective: to investigate the clinical effect of cerebral function therapy on the treatment of recurrent depression. Methods: from August 2014 to August 2014 in our hospital for treatment of 60 cases of elderly patients with recurrent depression as the research object, and to give a randomized, control group 30 cases, give simple oral fluoxetine drug treatment; Intervention group, 30 cases in the control group give brain therapeutic apparatus based on auxiliary, treatment of two groups of patients before and after treatment of Hamilton depression rating scale (HAMD), clinical total effective rate, and a comprehensive evaluation of adverse reaction is happening. Results: intervention group and control group patients before treatment of HAMD scores, respectively (36.32±8.36), (35.84±9.62), no statistical significance difference in the two groups (P > 0.05), treatment 2 weeks, 4 weeks, 6 weeks, the HAMD scores of intervention group were lower than the control group, the differences (P < 0.05), statistically significant; After the intervention group, 28 patients showed effective, 93.3%, significantly higher than 70.0% of the control group, and the two groups were significantly different (P < 0.05), and statistically significant. And through different ways of treatment, 1 case of patients in intervention group, 1 case of anorexia, adverse reaction rate was 6.7%, 2 patients in control group, dry mouth, 2 cases of fatigue, 3 cases of anorexia, 2 cases of lethargy, the adverse reaction rate was 30.0%, the differences in two groups (P < 0.05), statistically significant. Conclusion: on the basis of conventional drug treatment of elderly patients with recurrent YuYi disease of brain function in the adjuvant treatment of therapeutic apparatus, depressive symptoms of the patients with significant improvement, and less adverse reaction, curative effect is distinct, worthy of clinical popularization and application.
