Abstract: Objective: To investigate the effect of antidepressant and psychological intervention on cognitive function and quality of life in patients with cerebrovascular disease and depression. Methods: in our hospital from January 2015 to January 2016 were treated 100 cases of cerebrovascular disease in patients with depression as the research object, according to the random method is divided into observation group (n=50) and control group (n=50), the two groups of patients received basic treatment of cerebrovascular disease (including improving microcirculation, symptomatic treatment and nursing etc.), and antidepressant therapy to oral drug sertraline, the observation group based on the implementation of comprehensive psychological intervention treatment. Using Hamilton Anxiety Scale (HAMA), self rating Depression Scale (SDS), self rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) and Montgomerie Depression Scale (MARDS) assessed the scores of mental status changes before and after treatment in two groups, and the simple Intelligence Scale (MMSE) to assess the cognitive function two groups were followed up for one year, and the quality of life. Results: by comparison, groups of patients after treatment of HAMA, SDS, SAS and MARDS score were lower than that before treatment and the control group (P<0.05); at the same time, two groups of patients before treatment, MMSE score was significantly lower after treatment, and the observation group than in control group (P<0.05); after one year follow-up found that life the quality score of observation group was significantly higher than the control group, the difference was significant (P<0.05). Conclusion: Based on conventional antidepressant drugs to implement comprehensive under psychological intervention can be beneficial to improving the cerebrovascular disease depression patients with adverse psychological state, while providing quality of life in patients with cognitive function and prognosis, which is worthy of promotion.
