[Abstract]Objective:To observe the effect of comfort nursing on the negative emotions such as anxiety and depression and the nursing quality in patients with nephrotic syndrome.Methods:90 patients with nephrotic syndrome admitted to our department of Nephrology in our hospital were randomly assigned to the experimental group and the control group,with 45 patients in each group.The experimental group received routine care plus comfort care,while the control group received routine treatment.The quality of care,nursing satisfaction and negative emotions such as anxiety and depression were observed and compared between the two groups.Results:Comfort nursing group were 2 cases of skin infection,edema subsided in 41 cases,9 cases of the control group of patients with skin infection,edema subsided in 33 cases,the skin infection rate(4.44% vs 20.00%) and the rate of edema regression(91.11% vs 73.33%) were significantly different between the two groups(P<0.05).The satisfaction degree of the patients in comfort nursing group was 93.33%,while that of the control group was 80%,there were significant differences between the two groups in nursing satisfaction(P<0.05).There was no significant difference in SAS and SDS scores between the two groups before nursing(P>0.05).Patients in the experimental group received comfort nursing care,the SAS and SDS scores decreased significantly after,patients in the control group with SAS and SDS score than before treatment also decreased,but the two groups of patients after nursing,SAS and SDS score difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion:For patients with nephrotic syndrome,comfort nursing can effectively reduce the incidence of skin infection,promote edema,improve the patients with depression and anxiety and other negative emotions,is conducive to improve the quality of life of patients and the prognosis of the disease.
