[Abstract] Objective: To explore the influence of four atypical antipsychotics on curative effect and serum myocardial enzymes and IL-13, TNF-α of elderly patients with first-episode schizophrenia. Methods: 168 cases of elderly patients with first-episode schizophrenia treated in our hospital from March 2013 to February 2017 were selected, and were divided into risperidone, ziprasidone, quetiapine and aripiprazole. The effect of treatment, serum myocardial zymogram, IL-13 and TNF- α levels were contrasted in the two groups. Results: There were statistically significant differences in PANSS score before and after treatment in the four groups (P < 0.05), and no statistically significant difference after treatment in the four groups (P > 0.05). There was no obvious difference in CK-MB in the ziprasidone group when compared with that in the other three groups (P < 0.05). There was no significant difference in LDH and CK levels in the four groups (P > 0.05). There were statistically significant differences in IL-13 and TNF-α after treatment when compared with those before treatment in the four groups (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The effect is obvious of four atypical antipsychotics in treatment of elderly patients with first-episode schizophrenia, and it can effectively improve serum myocardial enzymes level, increase serum IL-13 level, and decrease TNF-α levels.
