【Abstract】 Objective To investigate the effect of Escitalopram Oxalate combined with Deanxit in the treatment of post-stroke depression (PSD) and its influence on serum neurotransmitters. Methods 92 cases of patients with PSD were randomly divided into two groups:The observation group (n=46) was treated with Escitalopram Oxalate and Deanxit,the control group (n=46) was treated with Deanxit.The scores of NIHSS,BI,HAMD and MMSE were evaluated before and after treatment,the serum levels of 5-HT,DA,NE,NGF and BDNF were measured. Results After treatment,the scores of NIHSS and HAMD in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),while the scores of BI and MMSE were significantly higher (P<0.05);The serum levels of 5-HT, NGF and BDNF in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05),but there were no significant differences of serum levels of DA and NE between the two groups (P>0.05). Conclusion Escitalopram Oxalate combined with Deanxit in the treatment of PSD can promote the synthesis and release of neurotransmitters and nerve cell factors, reduce the depression, promote the improvement of neurological function and cognitive function.
