【Abstract】 Objective To investigate the effect of escitalopram combined with Shugan Jieyu capsule on patients with somatic anxiety and depression. Methods: A total of 113 patients with physical illness and anxiety from October 2016 to April 2018 were divided into two groups. On the basis treatment, 56 patients in the western medicine group were given escitalopram and 57 in the combined group use Shugan Jieyu Capsule , the total effective rate, neurological factor level and compliance were compared after 2 months . Results After February, the total effective rate, 5-HT, NE, DA serum levels and examination, treatment, medication and rehabilitation exercise compliance were higher than the western medicine group. The HAMA and HAMD scores at the end of 2w, January and February.，the adverse reactions occurred rate were lower than the western medicine group (P<0.05). Conclusion Shugan Jieyu Capsule combined with escitalopram can improve the patients,s neurological factors level saftly and effectively, patient compliance is high.
