Based on the history of post-traumatic growth in clinical application, the development of post-traumatic growth in clinic is reviewed. The analysis of clinical research shows that there is no unified explanation for the relationship between post-traumatic growth and post-traumatic stress disorder and mental health, and there is a difference in research.Based on the constructivism, the theory of psychological cognition, Resource Protection Model and Self-Determination Theory, this paper explains the development of post-traumatic growth in clinical application.Future research also needs to further improve the understanding of growth, starting from the research methods, targeted and integrated application of research.
