objective: to investigate whether general anesthesia can improve the anxiety level of patients with anxiety depression in the department. Methods: According to the inclusion criteria, 26 patients with anxiety depression were selected as the study group and 26 non-depression patients were selected as the control group. Income is from February 2017 to February 2019. Result: In the control group, the anxiety score data before and after operation were compared with T = 2.690, P = 0.010; the anxiety score data before and after operation were compared with T = 5.394, P = 0.000, t = 2.382, P = 0.021. In the study group, the preoperative and postoperative anxiety scores were t = 0.629, P = 0.532; the preoperative and postoperative anxiety scores were t = 0.647, P = 0.521; and the postoperative anxiety scores were t = 1.350, P = 0.183. Before the operation, the anxiety score of the study group was higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05), but there was no improvement after the operation, and the anxiety score was still higher than that of the control group (P < 0.05). Conclusion: The emotional state of patients with anxiety depression is almost not affected by general anesthesia, and anxiety symptoms persist.
