Objective To investigate the effect of thiopiride hydrochloride combined with vitamin B12 in the treatment of tic disorders in children and its effect on neurological function in children. Methods From January 2017 to January 2018, 87 children with tic disorder admitted in our hospital were used as observation objects. They were divided into the control group (43 patients receiving thiopiride hydrochloride) and observation using coin toss method. Group (44 cases, receiving thiopiride hydrochloride combined with vitamin B12), the treatment effect and neurological function were compared between the two groups. Results After treatment, the YGTSS score and excitatory amino acid levels in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group, and there were significant differences between the groups (P <0.05). The ASIA neurological function score and total effective rate in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group. The difference was significant (P <0.05). Conclusion Thibride hydrochloride combined with vitamins can effectively alleviate the symptoms of motor tics and vocal tics in children with tic disorder, improve the neurological function of children, and have significant therapeutic effects, which deserves clinical promotion.
