Objective To analyze the analgesic effect of escitalopram combined with parecoxib sodium in elderly patients undergoing surgical treatment of fractures and the effect on postoperative cognitive function and psychological state of patients. Methods A total of 97 elderly patients undergoing surgical treatment of fractures in our hospital were grouped according to the order of admission. The control group had 48 parecoxib sodium before anesthesia. The observation group had 49 patients who were given oral escitalopram in the control group. Comparison of postoperative pain mediators, pain severity, body stress response, inflammatory response, psychological state, and cognitive function changes between the two groups of patients. Results The levels of Cor, NO, CRP, and PGE2 in the two groups were not statistically significant (P> 0.05). The 5-HT levels, HAMA, VAS, and HAMD scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, and the MMSE scores were higher than those in the control group. Control group (P<0.05). Conclusion Escitalopram combined with parecoxib sodium can effectively alleviate postoperative pain in elderly patients with fractures, suppress the bodys stress and inflammation, eliminate adverse emotions, and promote the recovery of cognitive function.
