Methods A total of 200 patients with depression in our hospital were randomly selected. The self-made general questionnaire,Hamilton Depression Scale (HAMD), self-rating idea of suicide scale (SIOSS), and Eysenck Personality Questionnaire (EPQ). Family Environment Scale (FES-CV), Simple Coping Style Questionnaire (SCSQ) was used to conduct. Results The incidence of depression with suicidal ideation was 38.5%. Univariate correlation analysis showed that the psychotic dimension of EPQ was negatively correlated with the intimacy, emotional expression, knowledge, entertainment, organization and other factors of FES-CV (P<0.05 or 0.01);Contradictory and controlling factors were positively correlated (P<0.05 or 0.01).The neurotic dimension was negatively correlated with intimacy, emotional expression, knowledge, entertainment, moral and religious views, and organizational factors (P<0.05 or 0.01), and positively correlated with contradictory factors (P<0.05). The analysis shows that the intimacy and contradiction enter the multiple regression equations with mental quality, internal and external direction, and neuroticism as the dependent variables. The positive coping styles enter the multiple regression equations with mental quality and internal and external direction as independent variables, and the emotional expression enters the spirit. The quality is the multiple regressio n equation of the dependent variable (P<0.05 or 0.01).
