[Abstract] Objective: To study and analyze the clinical effect of the combination of escitalopram and Wuling capsule in the treatment of cerebral infarction patients with depression. Methods: 130 patients with cerebral infarction in convalescent stage and depression received by our hospital from February 2019 to February 2020 were taken as the objects of this study. According to the principle of double blind randomized control, the patients were divided into two groups, one group was named as the routine group (treated with escitalopram only), the other group was named as the study group (escitalopram + Wuling capsule). 65 cases in each group. The effect of clinical treatment was analyzed, the quality of life and depression scores were evaluated before and after treatment, and the biochemical indexes before and after treatment were compared. Results: ① the overall efficacy of the study group was higher than that of the conventional group (P < 0.05); ② the ADL quality of daily life score of the study group was higher, the HAMD depression score was lower, and the difference between the study group and the conventional group was significant (P < 0.05); ③ the NE, 5-HT, IL-23, IL-6, TNF - α of the study group were higher, and the difference between the study group and the conventional group was significant (P < 0.05). Conclusion: only using escitalopram in the treatment of cerebral infarction patients with depression and Wuling capsule at the same time can further reduce their depression, promote their quality of life to be significantly improved, and optimize their biochemical indicators, which is worthy of clinical attention and wide application.
